About Me
Brian Ballan is an entrepreneur working on the future of food systems. His first company, A&B American Style, grew from side project to acquisition after launching the #1 hot sauce on Amazon and landing on Oprah's Favorite Things.He started his career in strategy consulting with L.E.K. and later joined the corporate strategy team at Citigroup and was a VP at Cit Holdings (aka The Bad Bank) during the financial crisis.In 2010, he left Citi to become a line cook and pursue his passion for food. He brings a unique perspective and the ability to provide tough and supportive feedback.
